My name is Gemma Russell, and I am a qualified Counsellor with a Master’s in Clinical Counselling from The University of Chester. I offer person-centred therapy – a gentle, supportive approach that gives you the space to explore whatever you’re feeling, without judgement or pressure.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: that healing happens in a relationship built on trust, empathy, and acceptance. I’m here to walk alongside you – not to fix or analyse you, but to really listen, understand, and support you in finding your own way forward.
I’ve supported clients through a wide range of life challenge’s, including anxiety, low self worth, grief, relationship struggles, and times of transition. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure where to begin, I’ll meet you with warmth, honesty, and respect.
My Practice is grounded in the person-centred approach, which means I see you as the expert in your own life. I wont give advice, or set an agenda- instead, I’ll create the right conditions for you to feel safe, valued, and understood, so that reel change can begin to unfold.
My Goal is to empower individuals to tap into their own resilience, strength, and develop effective tools for managing challenges, and live a more authentic, meaningful life.
I offer Counselling for adults, either as individuals, or couples, in a calm and supportive space -both in-person and online.
Whether you’re coming on your own, or as a couple, you’re welcome here. I work with a range of emotional and relational difficulties, offering space to explore what matters to you most. Navigating challenge’s can feel daunting and overwhelming. You may feel stuck or unsure where to begin – that’s ok.
You don’t need to have a clear ‘label’ or ‘reason’ for coming to therapy -whatever you’re holding, we can explore it together at your own pace.
I offer personalized support services designed to help you navigate life’s challenges and achieve your goals. From one-on-one coaching and therapy sessions to workshops and resources, my services provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we’ll work to identify areas for growth, develop coping strategies, and build resilience.
